12/2/2009 - NECS® Promotes Barbara Keim to VP of Regulatory Compliance Services
Barbara Keim, who has served as Director of Regulatory Compliance Services for NECS® since 2004, has been promoted to Vice President of that business segment. David A. Fuhs, President and CEO of the company, in announcing the promotion stated that Keim brings more than 20 years of vehicle legalization and compliance experience to her new position and has been integral to the significant growth enjoyed by NECS® over the past 5 years. She is responsible for operation of the Regulatory Compliance and Legalization business for NECS® and manages a staff of professionals providing support services in both vehicle and driver compliance and legalization arenas. These include fuel and mileage tax reporting, title and registration services, temporary permitting and operating authorities, audit support, and DOT services that include Pre-Employment Screening, Driver Qualification File Management, Driver Log Auditing, and development of training materials.
Among Ms. Keim’s accomplishments has been the development and launch of the NECS® Driver Profile Management System™. This powerful web-based DQF tool manages various aspects of profiles for commercial drivers including personal information, driver qualification files, drug testing results, accident and incident information and events management. Ms. Keim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she’s a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt, has completed both Lean training and Business Process Management training, and has played an integral role in Continuous Process Improvement within the Regulatory Compliance Services business segment. Prior to joining NECS®, Ms. Keim was with Penske Truck Leasing Co., where she served as Manager of Fleet Services Legalization.
